Edith Fulmer Long 85 of 1208 Third Street Newberry died Thursday June 24 2010. Born on December 24 1924 in Silverstreet she was the daughter of the late John Carey and Bertha Taylor Fulmer. She was married to the late James Theodore J.T. Long Sr. Mrs. Long is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sandra and G.O. Pete McLain of Prosperity; grandchildren and their spouses Arthur and Audra Guy of Prosperity Todd and Harriet Guy of Kinards Missy and Mark Hipp of Prosperity and April and Charles Moore of Kinards; great-grandchildren Austin and Andrew Guy Justin and Dustin Guy and Emma and Samuel Moore; step-grandchildren and their spouses Thomas Oneal and Jeanie McLain and Jodie and Dwayne Smith; step great-grandchildren Taylor and Cadie McLain and Lucas Smith. She was predeceased by sisters Beulah Crumpton and Thelma Brewington; and brothers Hoyt Fulmer J.C. Fulmer and Aaron Fulmer. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens.
