Elise Shealy Williams Brock 92 died Wednesday September 01 2010 at White Oak Manor. Mrs. Brock was born in Chapin on September 3 1918 to the late James A. and Annie Meetze Hedgepath Shealy. She was a former employee of the West End Mill and retired from the Kendall Company Oakland Plant. She was a member of Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church and the Ladies Bible Class. She was first married to the late Roy O. Williams and second to the late J. B. Brock. Mrs. Brock is survived by a son Raymond O. Williams of Newberry; a grandson Michael T. and Sarah Williams of Prosperity; step-daughters Linda and Richard Hyler and Dianne and Mike Felker all of Newberry; step-son Gerald Wayne and Betty Brock of Whitmire; sister Ernestine Counts of Newberry; 5 step-grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Janie Dodgen Bernice Bedenbaugh Reba Dennis Tranny Bickley; brothers Leslie Hedgepath and Evans Shealy and daughter-in-law Linda W. Williams. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Friday at Mayer Memorial Lutheran Church by the Rev. Mary Havens. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery. The family is at Mrs. Brocks residence 2202 Wilson Rd. Newberry and did receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Wayne Thomas Tony Hedgepath Stuart Lake Freddie Harmon Randy Taylor and Gerald Wayne Brock. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Williams Trent Purcell Mickey Werts Todd Oswald Ed Haltiwanger David Bedenbaugh Alvin Jackson Sara Livingston Richard DeHart Ed Kyzer Dora Sue Livingston and Mable and Lin Slaton.
