Elizabeth Thai Phan, 86, died Friday, April 22, 2016 at NHC Health Care, North Augusta, SC. She was born on January 25, 1930 in Vietnam, daughter of Dang Huynh. She married Richard Tai Phan on April 11, 1950. Ms. Phan is survived by son and daughter- in-law, Nang and Kim Phan of Newberry; daughter and son-in-law, My Huong Phan and Quoc Giang of Greenwood; daughter and son-in-law, My Anh and Van Sung Nguyen of Newberry; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Christine Phan of North Augusta; son, Timothy Phan of Austin, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Julea and Jeffrey Ingold of Lexington, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Woody and Nga Phan of Cary, NC; son and daughter-in-law, Dave and Van Phan of Walkinsville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Thinh and Dai-Trang Phan, Issaquad, WA; and 24 grandchildren - Long Phan, Phung Phan, Nam Chu, Ngan Landaverry, Jennifer Nguyen, Juliette Nguyen, Dianna Phan, Jonathan Phan, Daniel Phan, Priscilla Phan, Robert Jr. Phan, Andrew Phan, Amelia Phan, Tinette Phan, April Phan, Laura Phan, Alyssa Phan, Ryan Phan, Megan Phan, Dustin Phan, Madison, Phan, Annabelle Phan, and Camilla Phan; 11 great-grandchildren; was predeceased by husband Richard Tai Phan, a son Tri Huu Phan, and a granddaughter Jessica Nguyen. Funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Rokuzan Kroenke.
