Elizabeth White Threatt 88 formerly of 1720 Harrington St. Newberry wife of Perry C. Threatt Sr. died Sunday August 17 2003 at White Oak Manor.Mrs. Threatt was born on May 29 1915 in Sumter a daughter of the late Joseph B. and Evie Ann Mathis White. She was a member of O'Neal St. United Methodist Church and was a life member of the Town & Country Garden Club.Mrs. Threatt is survived by her husband of Newberry; a daughter and son-in-law Sandra T and Peter Garrett of Simpsonville; two sons and daughters-in-law Perry C. and Jane Threatt and Yancey B. "Buddy" and Ann Threatt all of Newberry; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.Funeral services for Elizabeth White Threatt will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Kem Thomas and the Rev. Barbee Parsons. Interment will be in Newberry Memorial Gardens.Visitation will be from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
