Ellen Mary Maddalena, 91, of Newberry, died on Friday, January 26, 2024, at White Oak Manor in Newberry.  Ellen is the daughter of the late Hubert and Elma Hughes and was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic John Maddalena.

Ellen is survived by her children, Dolor John (Alisha) Maddalena of Deatsville, AL, Rosemary (Larry) Helms of Chester, SC, Tony (Vicki) Maddalena of Newberry, SC, and Michelle (Leon) Madray of Newberry, SC; and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother, Hugh A. (Mary) Hughes of Duluth, GA.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.
