Elsie Sowell Graham 93 formerly of Newberry widow of Frank D. Graham Sr. died June 11 2003 at the Lowman Home. Mrs. Graham was born on February 5 1910 in Pageland a daughter of the late Henry B. and Jessie Blakeney Sowell. Mrs. Graham was a member of Central United Methodist Church. Mrs. Graham is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David Graham Jr. and Judy L. Graham of Prosperity; three sisters Pearl S. Arant and Rachael S. Caraway both of Pageland and Kathleen S. Huey of Columbia; a brother Reece Sowell of Pageland; and two grandchildren Frank D. Graham III and Allison Lindler. Graveside services for Elsie Sowell Graham will be conducted Friday at 11:00 A. M. at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Randy Derrick. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 P. M. Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David Graham Jr. 131 Holiday Acres Road Prosperity.
