Emma Dickert Martin 87 of 117 Dickert Rd. Silverstreet widow of Ray A. Martin died Friday November 17 2006 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.Mrs. Martin was born on January 6 1919 in Silverstreet a daughter of the late John H. and Lelia Garrette Dickert. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church UMW the church Administrative Council and choir.She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law Nancy and Robert Jeffcoat of Gaston Betty and Randy Graham of Aiken and Mary Farmer of Prosperity; one sister Juanita Pitts of Clinton; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters Hermie Longshore Jessie Shealy and Clara Bedenbaugh and two brothers Furman Dickert and Newton Dickert.Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Trinity United Methodist Church by Rev. Hugh Bickley. Interment was in church cemetery.Visitation was from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church 1167 Trinity Church Road Newberry SC 29108.Active pallbearers were Johnny Graham David Graham Rusty Farmer Joe Jeffcoat Sally Farmer Danielle Jeffcoat and Janet Davenport.
