Erin Elizabeth Ward, 39, died Sunday, April 25, 2021.
Born in Newberry on September 2, 1981, she was the daughter of Darrell and Terry Creech Ward.
Erin was one of a kind, 'funny, sassy, and always had your back.' She loved to celebrate holidays and birthdays and made sure her house was decorated 'to the max'.
Her family and friends were the center of her world, and her life truly revolved around her twins, Karamia and Kadence. She was a nurturing, attentive mother who was very involved in their extracurricular activities some of which included: The Girl and Boy Scouts of America, karate and dance. Erin helped Karamia consistently achieve "top seller" of Girl Scout Cookies each year, and Kadence helped out by eating all the cookies.
Traditions were important to her and Erin had a gift for creating new traditions and memories with her family. In turn, she gave them the gift of beautiful memories.
Erin is survived by her parents; her two children, Karamia and Kadence Kinard and their father, Michael "Mike" Kinard; a brother, Wesley Ward; a special niece, Alyssa Ward; an aunt, Diane Christian; and her soulmate, BJ Brown.
