Erma Arlene Schnoor Wessinger, 93, died on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Springfield Place in Newberry. Born on October 26, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ruth Nall Schnoor. She was a woman of faith who loved her Lord, was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church and attended Faith Assembly of God. She enjoyed sewing and used her talent to make clothes for the children of Haiti. She devoted her life to family and friends. She adored all of her family and prayed for them all regularly but the grandchildren and great grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Survivors include her children, Sharon Weber (Charles) of Little Mountain, Juanita Yoho (Phillip) of Baton Rouge, LA, Daniel Wessinger (Barbara) of Prosperity, Annette Bailey (Richard) of Richmond, VA, and Kevin Wessinger (Sandra) of Little Mountain; siblings, Paul Schnoor, Milo Schnoor, June Fox, Laverne Zimmerman all of Iowa and Irene Palmer of Pennsylvania; 16 grandchildren, Marie White (Sean), Edwin Weber (Freddie), Caroline Smith (Ryan), Annamarie Pasqua (Jason), Rachel Yoho, Josh Yoho, Kathleen Wissner (Ross), Rich Bailey, Melissa Bailey, Bryan Bailey, Erick Wessinger (Sara), Ethan Wessinger (Leah), Elizabeth Howell (Todd), Courtney Swafford (Roger), Jennifer Bickley (Benji) and Michelle Amick (Dillon); and 19 great grandchildren, Evelyn Pasqua, Samuel Pasqua, Joseph Pasqua, Jasmine White, Sean White, Sharon White, Cheyenne Smith, Brody Smith, Gabrielle Wessinger, Kenslee Wessinger, Cruz Wessinger, Kash Wessinger, Meah Wessinger, Savannah Wessinger Charlie Howell, Asher Wissner, Madison Swafford, Sydney Swafford and Robert Swafford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Erick Wessinger; siblings Emory, Harold, Darlene and Elnora and two great grandchildren, Ruth Anne Howell and Caleb Aaron Swafford. The family will receive friends in the social hall of Macedonia Lutheran Church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday, August 13, 2018. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 PM in the sanctuary of Macedonia Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Randall Derrick. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Erick, Richard, Edwin, Josh, Bryan, Ethan, Sean, Ryan, Roger, Todd, Ross, Benji, Dillon and Jason.
