Ernest John Schneider, 84, of Newberry, died Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Born on January 15, 1938, in Rockville Centre, New York, he was a son of the late Ernest and Marguerite Lewis Schneider.

Ernie served in the Air Force as an airplane mechanic and then went to work for Pan American Airlines, from which he retired. Ernie was an antique dealer for over 20 years and loved to collect model cars, pottery, and airplane memorabilia.

He is survived by daughters, Norma Jean Hanko (Joey) and Jessica Rutkowski; grandchildren, Paris Hanko and Tyler Hanko; a brother, Bill Schneider (Patricia); and special friends, Amy Wheaton of Chapin, Karen Ware of Charleston, and Karen Quinn of Little Mountain.

No services will be held at this time.
