Ernestine McCartha Fuller 93 formerly of 817 Glenn St. Newberry widow of Johnnie J. Fuller died Thursday October 2 2003 at the J.F.Hawkins Nursing Home. Mrs. Fuller was born on Feb. 6 1910 in Lexington a daughter of the late Jacob F. and Sallie Hallman McCartha. She was a retired employee of the Kendall Co. Mollohon Plant and a member of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church. Mrs. Fuller is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law Betty and Boyd Smith and Margaret Sligh all of Newberry; a brother Jacob F. McCartha of Garden City; two grandsons Johnny Sligh and Hugh B. Smith both of Newberry; and two great grandchildren Aubrey Smith and Lauryn Smith both of Newberry. Funeral services for Ernestine McCartha Fuller will be conducted at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday at Summer Memorial Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brett Collins. Interment is in Rosemont Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 A. M. Tuesday at the Social Hall at Summer Memorial Lutheran Church.
