Essie Felker Wicker 88 formerly of 383 Wicker Road Pomaria widow of Willie Earl Wicker died Thursday September 09 2004 at Springfield Place. Mrs. Wicker was born on October 29 1915 in Newberry County a daughter of the late J. Arthur and Annie Schwartz Felker. She was a retired nurse's assistant at Whitten Village and she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.Mrs. Wicker is survived by a son Kenny Wicker of Newberry; a daughter-in-law Linda Knight of Newberry; a brother Ernest Felker of Newberry; three grandchildren Alisha Davenport Anita Wilbanks and Alison Boland; and five great grandchildren. Funeral services for Essie Felker Wicker will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brent Nichols. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Victory Junction Gang Camp 311 Branson Mills Rd.
