Ethel Betchman Mims 85 of Lowman Home widow of John W. Mims died May 2 2005 at the Lowman Home. Mrs. Mims was born on Oct. 11 1919 in Newberry the daughter of the late John Emmett and Mertie Richardson Betchman. She was a member of Shandon United Methodist Church. Mrs. Mims is survived her son Ronald W. Mims of Chapin.Graveside funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in Rosemont Cemetery by the Rev. John Miller.
