Etta Irene Coward age 89 of Gallatin passed away May 25 2011. Wife of the late Bernice Odell Coward she is survived by her brother Carol Wessinger of Newberry S.C.; her sister-in-law May Belle Coward; brother-in-law James Coward; and many nieces and nephews. She was beloved and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. She retired from Willis Corroon Corp. in Nashville. Visitation was at the Alexander Funeral Home in Gallatin on Saturday May 28th from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Jerry Wallace and Rev. Felix Snell. Interment did follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens in Hermitage TN Family and friends did serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers the family asks that gifts be made to Sumner Hospice First United Methodist Church or charity of your choice.
