Obituary

Eula Baker Stone 94 widow of Perry C. Stone died Thursday April 23 2009 at White Oak Manor. Mrs. Stone was born on October 07 1914 in Whitmire to the late John Raymond and Eugenia Catherine Baker. She was retired from J.P. Stevens Company Whitmire Plant. She was a member of Whitmire Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Willie Miller Sunday School Class. Mrs. Stone is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Betty and Ordie Campbell Linda and Jimmy Lominick all of Whitmire and Judy Epting of Newberry; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Willene Stone of Whitmire; two sisters-in-law Bernice Rivers and Mary Rivers both of Columbia and a special cousin Frances McCullough of Jalapa. She was predeceased by her son Claude Stone; sister Lucy Rivers Price; brothers James O. Rivers and Henry P. Rivers; stepmothers Lizzie Rivers Baker and Moza Lee Baker; son-in-law Bob Epting. Visitation was Saturday from 4:00 to 5:00 P.M. at Whitaker Funeral Home Newberry. Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 P.M. Sunday at Whitmire Presbyterian Church at the Rev. Marion Boozer. Interment were in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Whitmire Presbyterian Church 1509 S.
