Evelyn Berley Kiker 90 formerly of 1389 SC Highway 34 Pomaria died Saturday April 26 2014. Born on March 21 1924 in Pomaria SC she was a daughter of the late Cyrus Edward Teet and Lucy Graham Berley. Mrs. Kiker was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she was active in the 55+ Group. She was the retired owner of Kiker Monument Company. Mrs. Kiker is survived by her daughter Tracy Ann Boyter of Pomaria; son and daughter-in-law Ricky and Sandy Kiker of Pomaria; sister Margaret Sue Doolitte of Whitmire; and grandchildren Thomas Kiker Leanna Kiker and John Ross Kinard all of Pomaria. She was predeceased by her husband J. B. Kiker and sisters Frances Cathcart and Ola Mae Doolittle. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 AM Monday April 28 2014 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mat Brewington and the Rev. James Williams. Interment was in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday at Whitaker Funeral Home Newberry. Memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church 2442 Mt. Pleasant Rd. Pomaria SC 29126.
