Faye Perry Brooks 52 of Newberry widow of Terry Charles Brooks died Friday July 19 2013 at her residence. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 PM on Sunday July 21 2013 at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel in Newberry by the Rev. Tony Dickert. Interment did follow in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family is at the residence of Felicia and Brad Bright 2024 Stoney Battery Rd. Newberry and will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday July 20 at Whitaker Funeral Home in Newberry. Mrs. Brooks was born on Oct 13 1960 in Okeechobee FL a daughter of Margie McMurtury Perry and the late Dan G. Perry Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Central Avenue Baptist Church of Whitmire. Mrs. Brooks is survived by her mother of Whitmire; daughter Felicia (Brad) Bright of Newberry; sisters Janet Moates and Becky Brown both of Whitmire; and two grandchildren Ethan and Dylan Bright. In addition to her husband and father she was predeceased by her brother Dan G. Perry Jr. Memorials are suggested to Central Avenue Baptist Church PO Box 133 Whitmire SC 29178.
