Fidele Raynald Paquin, age 88 of Silverstreet, died Saturday, December 3, 2022 at his home. He was married for 61 years to Patricia Ann Covan Paquin.

Born July 23, 1934 in St. Eugene, Northwest Territories, Canada, he was a son of the late Rosaire and Courona Paquin.

Fidele was a genuine and kind man who took pride in his work and above all else, loved his family. Growing up in the remote Northwest Territories, he learned to appreciate the beauty and power of nature, the importance of family, and the value of hard work. He is loved by his family and will be dearly missed.

Fidele attended school through the third grade, and yet found ways to educate himself in the skills of his work. He was very intelligent and a talented problem solver. In his career, he oversaw maintenance and repairs of critical machinery and systems in the textile and wood products industries.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children in Quebec, Canada, Re Jean Paquin, Eileen Paquin, and Royale Paquin; his children in Silverstreet, Larry Paquin, Angelo Paquin, and Michael Paquin; sisters, Nella, Diane, Lylae and Leana; a brother, Donald; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many additional Canadian friends and extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by multiple siblings.
