Frances "Fran" Keeney Hentz

Frances “Fran” Keeney Hentz, 84, of, Prosperity died Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at The Heritage at Lowman, in Chapin. 

.Born on August 2, 1942 in Council Buffs, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Dwight and Irma Sipling Keeney.

Mrs. Hentz was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired public educator, teaching at Grinnell High School in Iowa and Newberry High School.

Fran was a faithful member of Macedonia Lutheran Church as well as a member of the P.E.O. (Philanthropic Education Organization) International for over 50 years. Fran was also the organist for many years.

Mrs. Hentz enjoyed music, books, and her many furbabies.
