Frances Longshore Kinsey 80 formerly of Newberry died Thursday December 11 2003 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Kinsey was born on September 21 1923 in Newberry County. She was a retired employee of J. B. White and Dillard Department Stores and was a former high school teacher. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She graduated from Silverstreet High School and was class Valedictorian. She was a graduate of Newberry College class of 1944. Mrs. Kinsey is survived by a son Lance G. Kinsey of Los Angeles CA a sister Virginia L. Medlock of Newberry; two brothers Hugh F. Longshore Jr. and Donald L. Longshore both of Newberry; two grandchildren Matt Livingston Kinsey and Logan Michelle Kinsey both of Los Angeles CA. She was predeceased by a sister Annette L. Clark. Funeral services for Frances Longshore Kinsey will be conducted at 3:00 P. M. Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home by the Rev. Randy Monk. Interment will be in New Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 P. M. Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Newberry.
