Obituary

Frank Kelly Ballard 85 of White Rock widower of Juanita C. Ballard died Thursday January 27 2005 at the Lowman Home. Mr. Ballard was born on September 11 1919 in Statesville NC. He was a member of James Island Presbyterian Church where he was a member of the Church Choir. He was a Mason and a Shriner and also a member of the Elks Club the Orangeburg Sportsman Club the Exchange Club and a former member of First Presbyterian Church of Orangeburg. He was the first Eagle Scout in Eastern North Carolina District of Tarboro. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was retired from the Department of Public Utilities City of Orangeburg. Mr. Ballard is survived by his daughter Nancy Ballard Livingston of Chapin; his son Frank Kelly Ballard Jr. of Charlotte NC; a sister Leila Mae Miller; brother James Ballard; his granddaughter Adriane Culler Livingston of Columbia and several nieces and nephews.Memorial funeral services were held Saturday at 11:00 am at Faith Presbyterian Church in Ballentine SC and on Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at James Island Presbyterian Church Folly Road Charleston SC. Memorials may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church Mercy Ministry Fund 1811 Dutch Fork Road Irmo SC 29063 or to the James Island Presbyterian Churchs Pastor Discretionary Fund.
