Obituary

Frank S. Scott Brady 80 of Little Mountain died Saturday April 6 2013 at Lexington Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday April 20 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church by the Rev. Brett Collins. Interment will follow at a later date in Faith Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday April 19 2013 at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapin The family requests that memorials be made to the Widows Orphans & Disabled Firemens Fund 815 Colorado Blvd Fl 4 Los Angeles CA 90041 Holy Trinity Lutheran Church P.O. Box 186 Little Mountain SC 29075 or to Faith Lutheran Church 700 E Bobier Dr Vista CA 92084. Mr. Brady was born on Aug. 17 1932 in Montgomery AL a son of the late Spencer and Carrie Callaway Brady and he was a Navy veteran of WW II. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Lutheran Men and the Family Motor Coaches Association and a Former member of Faith Lutheran Church in Vista CA. He loved to travel and made many trips abroad. He is survive by his wife Lillian Wierick Brady; 3 daughters Cathy Means Ray of Atlanta GA Lynda Keys of Vista CA and Mary Ann Torres of Arizona; 5 sons Terry Means of Modesto CA William Smead of Coral Cables FL Patrick Berry of Las Vegas NV David Berry of Oceanside CA; and Michael Berry of Aliso Viejo CA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his first wife Virginia Lee Brady; and sisters Neva June Dussy and Merle Norrine Johnson. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.whitakerfuneralhome.com.
