Fred Duncan Pitts 75 of Columbia died Saturday June 13 2015 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday June 22 2015 in Rosemont Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Christi Pursey. Fred was born on Jan. 9 1940 in Denmark SC the son of the late Madison and Sara Duncan Pitts. From the time he was 9 years old until early adulthood Fred lived in Newberry with his aunt and uncle Pat and Elsie Nichols. He is survived by a sister; Faye P. Cumbee (Rev. L.E.
