George Randolph "Randy" Drafts, 68 years of age, died on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Prisma Health Tuomey in Sumter, SC. He was born in Gardena, CA on September 8, 1952 and was a son of the late John and Marie Owen Drafts. Randy was a US Army veteran and worked in construction prior to his accident. While Randy's life was considerably changed by a serious accident, he maintained a great sense of humor and a gregarious personality. He enjoyed teasing, having fun, laughing and joking with others. Randy is survived by two brothers, Dan Drafts (Debbi) of Prosperity and Jim Drafts of Denver, CO. He is also survived by nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 in the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel, 1704 College St., Newberry.
