George J. Renne' Jr. of Chapin SC died Wednesday March 3 2010 at Ascension Hospice in Irmo SC.He was born in New York N.Y. a son of the late George J. and Viola Pfleger Renne'. Mr. Renne' was an U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a Past Post Commander of V.F.W. Post 6192 of the Township of Washington. He was a self-employed professional sign painter.Mr. Renne' is survived by his wife of 53 years Elsbeth Blume Renne' of Chapin; 2 daughters and their spouses Laurie and Vic Cellupica of Dumont NJ and Carol and Bobby Sproviero of the Township of Washington NJ; a brother Walter Renne' of Murrell's Inlet S.C.; and 3 grandchildren Michael Cellupica Amanda Sproviero and Daniel Sproviero. He was predeceased by a brother John Renne'.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel in Newberry.The family wishes to say a special Thank You to Ascension Hospice S.C.
