Gregg E. Nichols 33 of 5091 Clara Brown Road Newberry died Thursday February 12 2004 at the Providence Hospital in Columbia. Mr. Nichols was born on February 27 1970 in Newberry a son of Allen E. and Carolyn Richardson Nichols. He was a graduate of Newberry College class of 1993 and he received his master degree from Webster University in Greenville.He was a member of Colony Lutheran Church and was an employee of Columbia Mental Health. Mr. Nichols is survived his parents of Newberry; a brother Jason Nichols of Newberry; a maternal grandmother Myrtis R. Richardson of Prosperity; and a nephew Brandon Nichols of Newberry. Funeral services for Gregg E. Nichols will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Saturday at Colony Lutheran Church by the Rev. Jerry Trantham. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 P. M. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. The family will be at the residence 5091 Clara Brown Road Newberry SC 29108.
