Harmon E. Brehmer 74 of 3270 Sandy Run Creek Rd Kinards died Monday at Lexington Medical Center.He was born in Clinton SC on April 13 1935 a son of the late Harmon E. and Ruby Fellers Brehmer. He was a graduate of Newberry College and retired from Champion International Corporation. He was a member of Silverstreet Lutheran Church. Mr. Brehmer is survived by his wife Louella Hamm Brehmer; two sons and daughters-in-law Harmon E. and Cathy Brehmer Jr. of Newberry and Karl S. and Debbie Brehmer of Irmo; five grandchildren Thomas Brehmer Andrew Brehmer Kim Willis Michelle Baker and Dan Santis; and seven great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his brother Henry F. Brehmer.Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Silverstreet Lutheran Church by the Rev. Floyd E. Sides and the Rev. J. Harry Crout. Interment will be in Silverstreet Lutheran Church Cemetery.The family did receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Whitaker Funeral Home Newberry.Pallbearers were his nephews Henry Brehmer Jr. Mike Brehmer and Steve Brehmer and great nephews Neal Brehmer Kevin Brehmer and Lance Brehmer.
