Harold E. Fuller 85 of Newberry died Thursday June 26 2014 at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital. Born on July 22 1928 in Laurens County he was the son of the late Ewell Watts and Emma Jester Fuller. He was a retired employee of Joanna Mills. Mr. Fuller was a member of Lewis United Methodist Church Millie Hamby Sunday School Class and was a member of the Amity Masonic Lodge # 87 for 60 plus years. He is survived by a daughter Ruby Jean (Joe) Miller of Newberry; son Rev. Stanley C. (Joyce Wells) Fuller of Donalds SC; grandchildren Wendy (David) Donahue Carrie Burton James (Amanda) Point Allie (Mickey) Compton and Aminee (Domonique) Cockfield; 6 great grandchildren; a sister; Gladys Boyd; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 65 years Ernestine Fuller; sisters Julia Mae Wasson and Pauline Wightman; brothers D.J. Ewell Colie Clyde Grady David and Gerald Fuller; and a great granddaughter Riley Compton. Visitation were from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday at Whitaker Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday at Lewis United Methodist Church by the Rev. Stanley Fuller and Rev. Jimmy Counts. Interment with Masonic rites did follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were his nephews. Honorary pallbearers were the members of the Mille Hamby Sunday School Class.
