Harriet Clarkson Hamm 86 of 2006 Springfield Circle wife of D. H. Hamm Jr. died Wednesday October 52005 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mrs.Hamm was born August 14 1919 in Newberry a daughter of the late Rev. Geradus F. and Nancy Ansel Clarkson. She was a member of Wightman United Methodist Church and the Nancy Clarkson Circle. Mrs. Hamm is survived by her husband of Newberry; a daughter Susan Hamm Davis of Charleston; a son and daughter-in-law D. H. and Martha "Mot" Hamm III of Myrtle Beach; a sister Margaret Clarkson Welborn of Anderson; and a brother Gordon F. Clarkson of Newberry; two grandchildren E. Shell Hamm Graham and D. H. Hamm IV both of Myrtle Beach; and a great granddaughter Cameron.Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11:00 A. M at Wightman United Methodist Church by the Rev. Eddie Taylor. Interment was in the Prosperity Cemetery.The family did receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 P. M. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
