Harry A. Mills 90 formerly of 45 Hartford Heights Newberry died Thursday November 22 2012 at J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home. Visitation was from 5:30 to 6:30 PM Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services were conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday November 24 2012 at Rosemont Cemetery. Born on August 3 1922 in Newberry he was a son of the late Samuel and Emma Reeves Mills. He was an Army veteran of WW II a former employee of the City of Newberry and was a member of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife of 69 years Ida Mae Smith Mills; a number of nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law Polly Mills. He was predeceased by his infant sons Terry Jerry and Perry Mills and his siblings Helen ODell Heyward Mills Leland Mills Elon Mills and Ronald Mills.
