Hazel Ann Dean Wise, age 91, died June 28, 2019. Born March 28, 1928 in Bowersville, Georgia, she was the youngest child of the late George Talmadge and Lucy Brown Dean. Mrs. Wise and her late husband John Frederick Wise, enjoyed their ranch in Walhalla, South Carolina and their travels together in later years. They actively supported Whitten Center in Clinton, South Carolina. Survivors include her son, John Wardlaw Wise (Jack) , her nephews Herbert Clay Carruth, Jr. , Jeffery Brown Dean and Mark Wayne Dean; her nieces Janis Dean Stanger, Ellen Dean Carruth and Mary Ann Carruth. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Talmadge Brown Dean (Pete), and her sister, Doris Dean Carruth. Private services will be held at a later date.
