Helen Virginia Baird Kennedy 94 formerly of Sandusky Michigan died Thursday March 7 2013 at the Heritage at Lowman Chapin SC. She was born January 1 1919 in Leamington Ontario Canada daughter of the late Dr. Douglas M. and Rose Ellis Baird. Mrs. Kennedy graduated from Deckerville High School and attended Eastern Michigan University. She was a member of Kappa Mu Delta Sorority. On October 4 1941 she married Louis J. Kennedy Jr. in Richmond MI. He died December 28 1978. She was an elder of Sandusky Presbyterian Church where she also served as church secretary for 21 years. She was a member of the Sandusky Chapter #273 of the Order of Eastern Star and also served on the Auxiliary Executive Board of Directors at McKenzie Memorial Hospital. She particularly loved dancing and was a self proclaimed champion domino player. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by two daughters Barbara Goodman of Little Mountain SC and Patricia Ribble of Yuma AZ; a son Louis John Kennedy III of Fenwick MI; seven grandchildren sixteen great grandchildren and four great- great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother Dr. Douglas M. Baird Jr. formerly of Croswell MI. Mrs. Kennedy was interred in Greenwood Cemetery in Sandusky MI.
