Henry J. Horn 93 of 2000 Cromer Lane Newberry SC died Saturday July 20 2013 at his residence. Dr. Horn was buried beside his wife in Ashland PA. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Jennifer Rogers PO Box 1741 Greenwood SC 29648. He was born April 25 1920 in Ashland PA a son of the late Henry Charles and Laura Mervine Horn. He graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Engineering in 1941. His early career was in toxicology research at Hazelton Laboratories in McLean VA. After he received his M. D. Degree from George Washington University he began his private practice in northern Virginia where he remained until his retirement in 1997. During WW II he worked for the Navy stationed Bethesda MD. Dr. Horn is survived by two sons Henry Horn of Manassas VA and Charles Horn of Newberry. He was predeceased by his wife Anna May Caldwell Horn.
