Herman McKay 86 of 2325 Rosalyn Drive Newberry died Tuesday May 31 2005 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mr. McKay was born on June 11 1918 in Romance AR a son of the late Oscar and Grady McKay. He was a US Army veteran of World War II paratrooper and was a retired superintendent at Kendall Company Oakland Plant. Mr. McKay is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years Janie Frick McKay of the home; a daughter and son-in-law Janie Ann and Wyman Bundrick of Woodstock GA; a son and daughter-in-law Randy and Cathy McKay of Columbia; a daughter-in-law Phyllis Lathrop McKay of Pomaria; a sister Lola Hogan of Nevada; a brother Kenneth McKay of California; grandchildren Sheramy Bundrick and Chantell Bundrick both of Atlanta Ga Jennifer Frady of Hardeeville and Melanie McKay of Newberry; a great-granddaughter Kayla Frady of Hardeeville; and a step-grandson and spouse Tony and Joann Michau of Chapin Graveside funeral services were conducted at 11:00 A. M. Friday at Newberry Memorial Gardens by the Rev.
