Obituary

Heyward L. Frick 80 of 214 Lovelace Circle Prosperity husband of Rosalyn Hawkins Frick died Thursday January 27 2005 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mr. Frick was born on February 8 1924 in Chapin a son of the late John G. and Annie Wessinger Frick. Mr. Frick was an Army veteran of War World II. He was a member of Mr. Pilgrim Lutheran Church and served on the congregational council in his earlier years. Mr. Frick retired from Cannon Construction Company.Mr. Frick is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters Susan Bishop of Newberry and Julie Creel of Chapin; two sisters Evelyn Elbert of Ohio and Mary Frances Aull of Pomaria; a brother Claude L. Frick; five garndchildren Sarah Bishop Joseph S. Bishop Benjamn Bishop Santana Creel and Taylor Creel; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by two brothers L. G. Frick and Oscar Frick.Funeral services were conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Mt. Pilgrim Lutheran Church by the Rev. Elford Roof. Interment was in the church cemetery. Visitation was from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home and the family was at the residence 214 Lovelace Circle Prosperity.
