Hollie Eloise Thomas Corley, 85, of Orange City, FL died on August 21, 2018 at the Florida Hospital, Fish Memorial in Orange City. Born on October 25, 1932 in Newberry, SC, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Bertie Waites Thomas. Mrs. Corley was a retired private duty registered nurse and was a former member of Bethel Lutheran Church in White Rock, SC. While her health permitted, she enjoyed traveling and found pleasure in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Corley is survived by her children, Paul Corley and his wife, Betty of Deltona, Fl, Mark Corley of Orange City, Paula Williamson of Columbia, SC, and Georgia Smith of Waco, TX; siblings, Harvey Thomas and Helen Wright both of Newberry; 9 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, William D. "Bill" Corley; daughter, Rebecca Corley; and siblings, Olin Thomas and Lurlene Jenkins. Funeral services will be conducted at the Whitaker Funeral Home, 939 Chapin Road, Chapin, SC 29036 at 1:00 PM Monday, August 27, 2018. Interment will be in Bethel Lutheran Church Cemetery in White Rock, SC. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 PM prior to the service.
