Ida Mae Smith Mills 91 formerly of Hartford Heights St. died Monday at the J. F. Hawkins Nursing Home. Mrs. Mills family invites friends to celebrate her life with them from 7:00 to 8:30 PM Wednesday at her residence 45 Hartford Heights St. in Newberry. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Thursday at the Whitaker Funeral Home with the Rev. Hugh Bickley officiating. Interment will follow in Rosemont Cemetery. Born on November 25 1923 in Newberry she was the daughter of the late Clifton Candler Smith and Annie Mae Bickley Smith. She was married to the late Harry A. Mills. Mrs. Mills was retired from Allied Chemical and was a member of Summer Memorial Lutheran Church. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by infant sons Terry Jerry and Perry Mills and brothers Paul Smith and William Bill Smith.
