Iona L. Perry of Columbia, 85 years of age, died Friday, November 13, 2020 at White Oak Manor in Newberry. Born on June 21, 1935 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Guy M. and Josephine Wester Perry. She was a former employee of Dade County Florida and retired from Lexington- Richland 5. Mrs. Perry was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church in Chapin and she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ballentine Chapter #280. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dana E. and Dianne Perry of Newberry and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St Francis of Assisi Episcopal Church, PO Box 285, Chapin, SC 29036. It is requested that masks be worn and appropriate distancing be upheld.
