Ira Lee Frick 81 of 481 Wheeland School Road Little Mountain died Thursday July 29 2010 at his residence. Mr. Frick was born January 27 1929 in Little Mountain a son of the late Marshall Lee and Lona Mae Wicker Frick. He was a retired farmer and with his wife he delivered the State Newspaper on a rural route for over 20 years. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where he had served as superintendent and treasurer of Sunday School church sexton grounds keeper and chairperson of the Cemetery Committee. Mr. Frick is survived by a daughter Vivian Frederic of Little Mountain; a son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Patsy Frick of Little Mountain; grandchildren Carroll Frick and his wife Kerry Elizabeth Frick and Lauren Frederic; sisters Edith Wicker and Betty Theo Mills (Jim) both of Pomaria; and a brother Arch Frick of Little Mountain. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Grace Kelly Frick and a son-in-law Ralph Frederic. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Sunday at St. Peter Lutheran Church by the Rev. David Tholstrup the Rev. Rodney Gunter the Rev. Fred Suhr and the Rev. Vickie Powell. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at the Whitaker Funeral Home in Chapin.
