Jacob C. Adams, 38, of Newberry, died unexpectedly on October 5, 2020, the result of an auto accident. He was born in Newberry, a son of Carolyn Leaphart Adams and the late Marvin Adams. Jacob was an intelligent man; he always wore a smile on his face and managed to secure the position of the family clown. He possessed a caring heart and was always looking out for the other person. He had a passion for older model cars, especially Fords and Lincolns. He is survived by his mother; siblings, Joseph Marvin Adams of Newberry and Rebecca Adams of Kinards; nieces, Savana M Word and Shanna D. Carwise; and a special friend, Brandon Lee Simon of Newberry In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Rhonda Lynn Adams. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Saluda.
