Jacob Wendell Bedenbaugh passed away Sunday August 18 2013. Born at Leesville he was a son of the late Andrew Jacob and LouAnnie Swygert Bedenbaugh. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church a Mason a former member of the National Guard and retired from the Town of Lexington as a water plant operator. Survivors include his brothers Yoder (Nina Sue) Bedenbaugh of Newberry and Wyman (Betty) Bedenbaugh of Leesville niece Melanie (Patrick) Hawkins and children Claire and Ben Hawkins nephew Andrew (Stephanie) Bedenbaugh. He was predeceased by his wife Rosa Harmon Bedenbaugh and a nephew Chris Bedenbaugh. Services for Jacob Wendell Bedenbaugh 83 were conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at. St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Leon Rawl officiating. Burial did follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church 1130 St. Peter's Road Lexington SC 29072. Visitation was from 6 to 7:30 pm Tuesday at Barr-Price Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.
