Born on August 29 1932 she was a daughter of the late George H. and Cummings Shealy Attaway. Jackie retired after many years working as a receptionist for Shakespeare. She was a dedicated member of College Street Baptist Church where she was the pianist. Her most important role was that of a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Art and Amy Boozer of Prosperity; and grandchildren Cole Boozer and Ty Boozer. She was predeceased by a sister Mary Luva Lindley. Funeral services were conducted 11:00 AM Monday December 23 2013 at College Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Chad Ashby. Interment did follow in Newberry Memorial Gardens. Visitation was from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Newberry. Pallbearers were Scott Lominick Jason Bishop Bill Hester Morgan Sease Murray Kinard and Joey Smith.
