Jakie Lee Bedenbaugh, III, 51, of Little Mountain, died Monday, February 27, 2017. Born in Columbia, he was a son of Catherine Bedenbaugh of Honaker, VA and the late Jakie Lee Bedenbaugh, Jr. of Prosperity. Mr. Bedenbaugh was a retired employee of Kibler Auto Body and Wilson Tractor. He was a professional painter of vehicles and tractors and did auto body repairs. Survivors include his wife Sara Mae Frick Bedenbaugh; stepmother, Alma Harper Bedenbaugh; daughters, Susan Marie and Mary Catherine Bedenbaugh; son, Adam Jacob Lee Bedenbaugh (A.J.); his grandchildren that he adored, Shaylin, Amarius, Jaiden, and Laconza (L.J.) Mayers; brother, Robert Earl Bedenbaugh, sister, Connie (Mike) Lester; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the residence, 609 Old Dutch Rd, Little Mountain, SC and on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 10:00 until 10:30 AM at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Rd, Chapin, SC 29036. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM conducted by the Rev. David Tholstrup. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
