Jakie Lee Bedenbaugh (Jake) 67 of 117 Seagull Lane Prosperity SC died Saturday January 7 2012 at his residence. Mr. Bedenbaugh was born on October 17 1944 in Clinton SC a son of Janie Lee Bedenbaugh and the late Jakie Lee Bedenbaugh. He was a member of the Prosperity Masonic Lodge #115 A.F.M. Newberry County Shrine Club Newberry County York Rite Bodies and Hejaz Shrine Temple. He retired after 32 years from Georgia Pacific. In addition to his mother of Springfield SC Mr. Bedenbaugh is survived by his wife Alma Harper Bedenbaugh; children Jakie Lee (Sara) Bedenbaugh III Connie Jane (Mike) Lester and Robert Earl (Nikki) Bedenbaugh; step-children Sandra (Gary) Gardner Tony Warner and Jennifer Vanessa Rebecca Jessica and BriAna Harper; grandchildren Kevin and Holly Lester Susan Mary and Adam Bedenbaugh Robbie Stephanie and Emily Bedenbaugh; step-grandchildren Justin and Josh Reese Gardner and Jackie and Janessa Gardner; five great-grandchildren; sisters Patsy (Ray) Linton and Jean Phillips several nieces and nephews and special friends Mitchell and Michelle Williams. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. James Chaffin. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital 332 North Lauderdale St. Memphis TN 38105.
