Mr. James C. Bishop 64 son of the late Freddie and Nezzie C. Bishop died Friday November 12 2010 at the Palmetto Baptist Hospital Columbia South Carolina. Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife Gwen Gary Bishop; two sons James O'Neal Bishop and Gary Thinel Bishop; one daughter Kendal Patrice Bishop; one grandson Zachery O'Neal Bishop all of Newberry South Carolina. Mr. Bishop joined St. James A.M.E. Church at a very early age and later became associated with Bethelhem Baptist Church Newberry South Carolina. Mr. Bishop was the Owner and Operator of Bishop Enterprises and was a very dilligent and hard worker for his family and community. Funeral services for Mr. James C. Bishop were held Wednesday November 17 2010 at Bethelhem Baptist College Street Newberry South Carolina at 1:00 p.m. Visitation was held Tuesday November 16 at Bethelhem Baptist Church College Street Newberry South Carolina from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Condolences may be sent to Butler Funeral Home Saluda South Carolina Wilson Funeral Home or F.B.
