James C. Langford 91 formerly of 2106 Osborne Ave. Newberry died Friday March 31 2006 at the Presbyterian Home in Summerville.Mr. Langford was born on August 28 1914 in Union a son of the late Stanmore G. and Mozelle Wright Langford. From 1934 through 1936 he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and the Men's Bible ClassMr. Langford is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Dorothy L. and Paul J. Cone of Summerville; grandchildren Gwen Cone Kidwell of Charleston and Jay Cone of Sullivan's Island and great grandson Blaine Kidwell. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn Shealy Langford and brothers Robert J. Langford William W. Langford and Stanmore G. Langford II.Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Steven B. Counts. Interment was in Rosemont Cemetery. Visitation was from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M.
