Obituary

James E. "Tank" Dominick 43 of 1772 Colony Church Road Newberry died Friday January 27 2006 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.Mr. Dominick was born in Newberry a son of Eula Mae Wicker Dominick and the late Jacob James Dominick. He was an employee of Kibler's Inc. for 24 years and owner of A. J.'s Boarding Kennel. He was a member of St. Philip's Lutheran Church Amity Masonic Lodge #87 Newberry Chapter #226 of the Order of the Eastern Star and was an associate member of the S.C. Callers Association.Mr. Dominick is survived by his mother of Newberry; his wife Abby Dowd Dominick of Newberry; one sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Mark McMurtury of Whitmire; two brothers and a sister-in-law Mark A. Dominick of Newberry and Bobby and Paula Dominick of Whitmire; four nieces; four nephews; and a number of adopted nieces and nephews.Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday at St. Philip's Lutheran Church by the Rev. Terry Amick. Interment was in the church cemetery.Visitation was from 6:30 to 9:00 P.M. Monday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
