James J. "Jim" Matuszak, 58, of Newberry, died Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at his residence. Born on May 18, 1960 in Toledo, OH, he was a son of the late Donald J. and June Milhone Matuszak. Mr. Matuszak was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. What can be noted as most important about his life is that he was a loving husband, devoted daddy and granddaddy and a good servant of the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Bernice Andrjwski Matuszak; children, Christinia of Greece, Keisha Delong of Toledo, OH, Jay Matuszak of Austin, TX, Don Matuszak of Whitehouse, Ohio, Nicholas Matuszak of Newberry, and Mary Matuszak of Beloit, OH; brothers, John Matuszak and Todd Matuszak both of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Jami, Zoey, Harley, and David; his dog, Princess; and his bird, Olive. Graveside services will be held 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 10th, at St. Mark's Catholic Church Cemetery. Military Honors will be rendered prior to service.
