Jasper Lee Wearn, infant son of Brady Wearn and Mary Bedenbaugh, gained his wings on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital. Jasper was born on December 18, 2020 in Columbia, SC. During his short lifetime, he touched the lives of so many. He brought joy and delight to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Lovingly nicknamed "Chunk Monk", his personality and especially his smile would light up any room with abundant happiness. Survivors include his parents; maternal grandmother, Sara Bedenbaugh of Little Mountain; paternal grandparents, Chris and Crystal Wearn of Chapin; great grandparents, Richard and Lynne Fulmer of Chapin; great grandmother, Catherine Bedenbaugh of Homemaker, VA; great grandfather, Arch Frick of Little Mountain; great grandparents, Will and Pat Cagle of West Columbia; aunt, Susan Bedenbaugh of Newberry; uncles, Adam Bedenbaugh of Little Mountain and Kolee Wearn of Chapin. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Jakie Bedenbaugh, III; great grandmother, Mary Ida Frick; and two great grandfathers, Jakie Bedenbaugh, II and Lawrence Fredrick Wearn. Funeral services will be held graveside, Saturday, May 8 at 2 PM at St. Peter Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. David Tholstrup. The family will receive friends following the service.
