Jerry Lee Hancock, age 70, of Newberry, died November 21, 2023, at his home. Born August 13, 1953 in Newberry, he was a son of the late Melvin W. and Betty Joe Wiggins Hancock.

Jerry Lee was a simple and content man.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Renee Mills (Mark); granddaughter, Stacy Miller (Cody); great granddaughters, Winter Nichole and Ember Rain Miller; brothers, Ezell Hancock (Frances), Allen Hancock (Susan); sister-in-law Stacey Hancock (widow of William Tate Hancock); nieces and nephews Richard Hancock, Gail Sligh, Brandon Hancock, Matt Hancock, Ethan Hancock, Carrie Hancock, and Jason Wicker; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jimmy Lee Hancock and brother, William Tate Hancock.
